Back in December, the lovely guys at Sisley sent me a pack of red gnomes. The little guys escaped from their home – the infamous Parco dell’Alpe della Luna – to deliver to the world a message of independence and fun. The first one to give shelter and a helping hand to the gnomes was a group of lucky bloggers, who showed the gnomes around and collaborated in spreading the word about their sacred mission. My gnomes faced bewildering tasks, rode the subway, stared at deserted road-construction sites and jumped into the fridge – you can read their adventures here. Finally, the red gnomes admitted I was too much work for them, and decided to call for the backup troops… and what they sent me was this beautiful satchel.
Since the Hen needs to approve every new bag that walks into the house, I gave the girls some time to get to know each other.
And, of course, hugs and thanks to Sisley. The Hen approves.

In dicembre, gli adorabili di Sisley mi hanno mandato un pacco di gnomi vermigli. I nanetti avevano deciso di lasciare le loro case – il famigerato Parco dell’Alpe della Luna – per portare al mondo il loro messaggio d’indipendenza e divertimentosità. I primi ad offrire un riparo e un’operosa mano ai nani sono stati dei fortunati blogger, che li hanno scarrozzati in giro e aiutati a diffondere la notizia della sacra missione. I miei gnomi hanno fronteggiato sconvolgenti cimenti, sono andati in metropolitana, hanno fissato a lungo i lavori in corso e sono saltati nel frigo – le loro avventure si possono leggere qui. Alla fine, concludendo che con me c’era troppo lavoro, i nanetti vermigli hanno deciso di chiamare i rinforzi… e mi hanno mandato questo secchiello bello.
Visto che la Gallina deve benedire ogni borsa che entra in casa, le ho lasciate un po’ lì a fare amicizia.
